Day Two: Wednesday 27th April 2022
To accommodate ICPC’s global membership, Day Two commenced at 7:00am UTC to another well-attended and engaged audience.
Day Two included four live online presentations:

- ‘Extending the Reach of Sub-Sea Passive Fibre Optic Cables by Feeding a Mid-Span Remote Optical Pumped Amplifier (ROPA) from a Separate Cable’ presented by Mr Rolf Bøe from Tampnet
- ‘The ‘Collect Once, Use Often’ Ethos: How to Make Data Work for Permitting’ presented by Dr Lorraine Gray from Pioneer Consulting
The ICPC thanks you very much for attending the 2022 ICPC Virtual Plenary that was held online for an invigorating two days and reminds you that if you missed any of the sessions, ICPC Members will have the opportunity to view all the recorded presentations on-demand.

Day One: Tuesday 26th April 2022
Installing, Operating and Maintaining Resilient Submarine Cable Infrastructure in a Rapidly Evolving Global Environment
With close to 300 ICPC Members registered to attend the event along with 45 guest observers and over 20 invited speakers, Day One of the 2022 ICPC Virtual Plenary successfully commenced at 1:00pm UTC to a large online audience. General Manager Ryan Wopschall and ICPC Chair Malcolm Eccles warmly welcomed all delegates and introduced the wide array of topics from expert presenters.

- ‘Cooperative Resource Protection in a Blue Economy: Marine Spatial Planning to the Rescue’ presented by Commodore Daniel Atakpa from the Nigerian Navy
- ‘Revolutionizing Antarctic Science: The Impact of an Instrumented Subsea Cable between New Zealand and Antarctica’ presented by Mr Peter Neff from University of Minnesota
